SWEETEST HALEY JOY
The TV host's daughter, who also had on reading glasses with messy hair, smiled adorably for the camera. The proud mother captioned the post,
"Shout out to Ryan for holding a music class today. Xoxoxo."
Kotb's followers responded to the post with heartfelt comments. The IG handle for "Today" "Fourth Hour" wrote that Haley Joy's smile is what the world needed, and described her as "Sweetest Haley Joy!"
A SMILE FOR THE WORLD
Bobbie Thomas also commented on the smile, adding a smiley face and heart-shaped emoji. Ginger Pillar called the little girl adorable, noting that the joy of a child always reminds people of the goodness in the world.
The trio recently co-hosted the morning show from different locations.
Haley Joy brought happiness to Kotb's life when she adopted her back in 2017. The TV personality shares her first child with her fiancé, Joel Schiffman.
FROM THREE TO FOUR
In 2019, the couple chose to increase their family to four by adopting Hope Catherine. Kotb was ecstatic to become a mom for the second time, and Haley Joy adored her younger sibling.
The TV host shared the first picture as a family-of-four, last Easter, on Instagram. In it, Schiffman held onto the baby while Kotb sat beside him, with their first child leaning close.
CREATING MEMORIES
The trio smiled for the camera, and the TV star captioned it "This is us." The mom-of-two spent three months on maternity leave and used the opportunity to create memories with her daughters.
Kotb returned to work in August and was welcomed warmly by her co-hosts. She co-anchors the "Fourth Hour" segment with Jenna Bush Hager.
The "Today" star also co-hosts with Savannah Guthrie and Al Roker. The trio recently co-hosted the morning show from different locations due to Guthrie having a sore throat, and in the light of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Kotb connected to the show from Studio 1A, while the other two connected from their homes. The TV personalities are exercising caution and asking others to do the same.
