Jackson Browne, 71, Reveals Positive Coronavirus Test Result
On March 24, 2020, the musical legend sat down with Rolling Stone magazine and went public with the news of having contracted the virus.
The star suspects that he contracted the virus while traveling back and forth by airplane to perform at the Love Rocks NYC benefit at the Beacon in New York.

What happened?
He now wishes he hadn’t attended the event on March 12 because if he had stayed at home this might never have happened.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee revealed that when he started feeling sick he knew something was wrong immediately.
He says as soon as he noticed his rise in temperature and a cough he got himself tested. He had already been practicing social distancing so the news of the virus did not dampen his lifestyle a lot.

Staying positive
The 71-year-old is keeping positive and not letting the virus get the better of him. He is doing his part in making sure the virus does not spread by staying inside. He also says that this has allowed him to get closer to those he cares about.
He keeps himself busy by reading, watching shows and listening to music. He also keeps up to date by reading the medical bulletins and stories in the New York Times.
He periodically calls his loved ones and finds out how they are doing and if they are coping. He says that this has given him a chance to start thinking about others and just making sure they are okay. Telephonically of course.
Advice to the masses
Browne says his symptoms are quite mild and he attributes this to having a strong immune system. He has implored young people, all people to take this virus seriously. He is an avid supporter of the creation of herd immunity.
The musician joins an ever growing list of A-listers who have come out as having the virus including Prince Charles who is also 71.

He says that those who contract the virus and heal on their own are important for the immunocompromised, (those whom the virus could be fatal to).
His advice is to stay at home and limit exposure because you won’t know your status until tested and that could be weeks too late for the people you come into contact with.

The crowning of Coronavirus
The musician joins an ever-growing list of A-listers who have come out as having the virus including Prince Charles who is also 71.
As with Browne, the Prince of Wales cannot pinpoint where exactly he got the virus however with both of them being busy public figures it can be quite hard to tell.
Like Browne, the Prince is in good health and keeping positive like his age mate. He continues to work but from home.
