NOT THE FIRST TIME

As reported by PEOPLE, this is not the first time that Franzke made headlines after going viral for his dance video. In 2017, he also won the hearts of many people after being captured while dancing to a Christmas music.

Before breaking out in choreography to "Jingle Bells," he told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, "I don't know, I just get up there and some music just starts playing and I just start bouncing around. When the music stops, I go back and sit down."

Franzke is not the only old man who rose to fame because of his dancing talent.

A GOOD DANCER

In a 2018 interview with CBS 58, his wife Beverly discussed her husband's love of dancing, saying he always was a good dancer.

Beverly and Franzke have been married for over 80 years. According to the couple, they often dance together.

"We were big band fans," Franzke told CBS 58. "I used to jitterbug when I was young. I can't jitterbug today. My balance isn't good. But I just like music and I like her too."

Franzke is not the only old man who rose to fame because of his dancing talent. In 2014, an unnamed elderly man rocked back and forth to Bill Haley's "Rock Around the Clock," as shown in the video shared by Peruvian Facebook user Edgard Eleuterio Daza.

In the clip, the man can be seen throwing away his crutches and get down to boogie. He definitely caught the attention of the ladies on the dance floor.
