Samira Wiley of 'Orange Is the New Black' Dances with Wife Lauren Morelli Following 3rd Anniversary

Samira Wiley of "Orange Is the New Black" fame wowed her fans on Instagram with a sweet video of her dancing with her wife of three years, Lauren Morelli.

Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli recently celebrated three years of marital life, and even amid the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the world, they found a special way to celebrate their love life.

The sweet couple shared a special dance to mark their anniversary, with Samira posting the video on her Instagram page.

The video began with Samira dressed in a long black robe with her name inscribed on it. She held her phone and asked, "Everybody ready?" after which Lauren joined her as the music began playing.

The sweet couple then danced adorably, with their love for each other evident in the short video. In her caption to the video, the elated Samira wrote:

"Quarantine tings."

Fans of Samira who viewed the dance video were awed by it and showed their amazement with their comments on it. Lori Petty commented with three red heart emojis, while Courtney Reed wrote, "Awwwwww."

Another fan who felt blessed by the adorable video thanked Samira for sharing it, adding that the actress had changed her mood, while another fan said that the video made her heart happy.

Samira's co-star accidentally mentioned the actress as a gay actor, which made her cry when she saw it.

The couple marked their third anniversary on March 25, and Samira paid tribute to her wife on that special day with a loving post on Instagram. The actress shared a black-and-white picture of herself and Lauren on their wedding day.

In the caption to that post, she said that life without Lauren was unimaginable, and wished her a happy anniversary. Many of the couple's fans and friends congratulated them, with one fan writing:

"Oh wow x two stunning brides xxx happy anniversary to ye both x."

Samira Wiley is famous for her role as Pousey Washington in "Orange Is the New Black" and was accidentally outed by a former co-star on the show.

Speaking about that experience on WNYC's "Nancy" podcast, Samira said that she thought her character, Pousey, was queer, but that she never felt comfortable about disclosing her sexuality during the early seasons of the show.

However, Samira's co-star accidentally mentioned the actress as a gay actor, which made her cry when she saw it in the tabloids, so much that she tried to take it down.

However, playing Pousey Washington helped Samira to embrace her personality, and she became comfortable about her sexuality, ultimately marrying Lauren Morelli, who was a writer on the show.
