Cardi famously ranted about COVID-19 last month in a clip she shared on social media. The clip of her freaking out over the health and safety of people went viral which prompted DJ Mark Keyz to release a remix of it. He used parts of the rant and repackaged it with a hip-hop beat.
The remix titled “Coronavirus” which earned Cardi’s approval landed on the Billboard charts, selling thousands of copies shortly after its release. Cardi also used it to gather donations for relief efforts directed at assisting families affected by the pandemic.
Offset and Cardi are currently isolated in their home, doing their part to stop the spread of the virus. This new normal has given them a lot of time to spend with their daughter, Kulture.
Easter Sunday was a treat for Cardi’s fans who delighted in a photo of the adorable one-year-old all dressed up for the occasion.
Cardi had to leave Kulture for a couple of days after she checked herself into a hospital due to stomach pains. Luckily, she returned home after four days. Her sweet reunion with Kulture was documented in a clip.
Cardi did not provide further details about what caused the pain in her stomach but it is not believed to be related to COVID-19.
