Eighty-year-old John Amos from “Good Times” looked incredible as he posed with actor Walter Jones who happens to be a big fan of the veteran.

The picture showed Walter Jones and John Amos looking excited as they posed for the camera. Walter had his arms around John while wearing a big smile.

While Walter looked good in his black shirt, John’s white outfit was lovely, and he finished it off with a white cap and native necklace. Captioning the image, John said:

“Thank you for sharing this with me @walterejones! Most appreciated. -J.A.”

John, who is known for his role as Fred Evans in the American television series “Good Times,” has served as an inspiration to younger actors and those who watched him act back in the mid-1970s.

John is set to reprise his role in the sequel of Coming America.

In the comments section, people were quick to allude to Walter's caption about John making his childhood fun. Some mentioned that John served as the father figure they didn't have.

Others expressed that even at eighty years, John still looked good and fit. Some others thanked him for being a positive figure while some said they were jealous Walter got to meet him. Someone said:

Last year, John made a surprise appearance on “Live in Front of a Studio Audience,” during the re-staging of an episode called “The Politician,” which was part of the “Good Times” third season, in 1975.

Instead of coming on as the patriarch James Evans, John played the role of Alderman Fred Davis, a man running for local office.

His appearance was one of the highlights of the show, as people could not stop talking about how wonderful it was to have John Amos back on stage.

John, who, in a recent interview expressed that he and Bill Cosby were not friends and the latter got the reward for what he did, is set to reprise his role in the sequel of Coming America as Cleo McDowell
