Roberts recently took to her Instagram page to congratulate her daughter on the completion of her finals. She shared a gorgeous selfie of the 20-year-old dressed in a striped shirt.

Her hair hung loosely around her shoulders, and the unbuttoned shirt revealed a pretty neckpiece. Roberts' caption

The caption continued with her revealing that Leila had finally finished her finals — Roberts added that she did so under "strict confinement," in Paris.

She praised her daughter for sticking to her made-up schedule despite the lockdown and for finding the time to fit in the several emotional facetime calls they'd been sharing.

His parents disagreed and enrolled him in a catholic military school instead.

Roberts concluded the caption while tagging Leila's Instagram page, "Can't wait for big hugs and kisses!! Simply proud of you."

In 2019, ahead of father's day celebration, Al Roker opened up about what he knows about his three kids — he also shared what he's learned from each of them.

From Courtney and Leila, Roker says he learned how to listen — both girls had reportedly wanted different things growing up.

His oldest daughter, Courtney, had revealed at the start of her sophomore year in college that she was more interested in pursuing a degree at a culinary school.

Though shocked, Roker says Roberts and himself both supported her decision, and now she's an established chef with her catering services. Leila, on the other hand, had developed an interest in theater and performing arts.

Leila revealed this to her parents while she was in eighth grade, and though they were reluctant initially, they gave in after Roker realized he was once in her position.

Like his daughter, he had been interested in arts and design growing up. However, his parents disagreed and enrolled him in a catholic military school instead.

Determined not to go down the path his parents did, Roker and his wife decided to support Leila's ambition, and now she's done with her finals and is ready for greater things.

Roker's lesson from Nick was equally an important one. He says Nick taught him never to underestimate anyone when he went on to get a blackbelt in taekwondo despite having motor issues.

So far, Roker's decisions as a parent has paid off, and his kids are doing well for themselves. Courtney is a chef working for Google in one of their restaurants. She is also currently engaged to Wesley Laga, who proposed amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Leila seems to be following her mom's footsteps as she seems to have developed an interest in journalism — she has reportedly written several articles for various news outlets, including Forbes.
