Ilene Graff, Dee Wallace & Michael Learned Talk Motherhood Ahead of Mother's Day

A lot of stars, including Ilene Graff, Dee Wallace, and Michael Learned, opened up about motherhood ahead of Mother's Day in a recent interview.

Ilene, 71, shares daughter Nikka Graff Lanzarone with her husband, musical director Ben Lanzarone. In an interview with Closer Weekly, the "Mr. Belvedere" actress discussed the first occasion when she honored Mother's Day with her daughter, who was born in 1983.

"My baby was 6 months old and we went to a local restaurant," Ilene revealed. "I finally felt like part of the mom's club."

BROADWAY STAR

Nikka became a broadway performer. In 2012, she joined her talented parents as a special guest in Graff's cabaret show, First You Dream at Sterling's Upstairs at The Federal, as reported by Theater Mania.

Nikka made her Broadway debut in "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown." She was also picked to star as Velma Kelly in the Broadway production of Chicago.

LOVING MOTHER

Another celebrity who shared her story of being a doting mother to her child was Dee Wallace. The "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" actress shares daughter, Gabrielle, with actor Christopher Stone, who passed away in 1995.

Dee recently earned her 200th film credit.

TRAGEDY AND HEARTACHE

"I love having my daughter as my best friend," Dee told Closer Weekly. "We've been through tragedy and heartache and fabulous, incredible joyful times. We always teach each other the truth and we share everything."

Dee recently earned her 200th film credit. When asked by Fox News, how does it feel, the acclaimed actress said it's exciting. Dee added that she's blessed with being offered significant parts in movies that she had wanted to do.

Meanwhile, Michael Learned, who shares three sons, Lucas, Chris, and Caleb with her first husband, Peter Donat, told Closer Weekly that motherhood was the greatest joy of her life.

"They would make me breakfast and bring it to me on a tray. Sometimes it was totally inedible," the actress explained. "But they'd be so happy that I'd try to eat it!"

Since 1988, Learned has been married to John Doherty The couple still lives in California, as reported by Fox News.

Everybody recognizes Learned as the matriarch of "The Waltons" Olivia Walton. She once said that this television series saved her life because she was going through a divorce at the time.
