Shannon Amos is the daughter of actor John Amos, well known for his role in TV series and movies. She doesn't follow the same way as her father, but she has her own way. Three years ago, her mother died and she began a new journey.

This journey took her to India, and there she began a new path to honor her mom. In some pictures shared by her, she holds a bunch of sunflowers and shows a sleeve tattooed on her arm: a large elephant head and a pot-bellied human body. It is an image of Ganesha, one of the most distinctive Hindu deities. Shannon said about family:

Family is so important — make sure you take the time to be present and to enjoy each moment with the people you love.”
