Gayle King Celebrates Daughter Kirby Bumpus' 34th Birthday via Zoom
Gayle King remembers her "first baby" daughter on her 34th birthday, sharing a sweet tribute to her on Instagram.
Gayle King greeted her daughter Kirby a happy 34th birthday on Instagram, sharing pictures of her as a baby and in the present day. While the mother-and-daughter duo couldn't be together due to stay-at-home orders, they made sure to celebrate through video conference.
The journalist first shared pictures of her first daughter as a newborn. In the second picture, she gives fans a glimpse of her own mother, who is seen doting on little Kirby as Gayle smiled beside her.
CELEBRATING AMID QUARANTINE
Meanwhile, in the present day, Kirby is celebrating her birthday in the backyard with her brother and fiance, while Gayle was safe at home. They made sure to share a toast with one another, celebrating their special day even when they're apart.
Bumpus used to work as a former Obama administration aide before working as a health educator. She remains engaged to Virgil Miller, an aide himself.
GAYLE'S FAVORITE SON
Recently, Gayle also shared a tribute for her son, WIlliam Bumpus Jr., while he posed with his dogs. Fans couldn't help but share their admiration for him, calling him handsome.
She keeps a close relationship with her two children, calling them "favorite daughter" and "favorite son" every chance she gets.

GAYLE'S FAVORITE "GRANDDOG"
It turns out, Gayle and William were celebrating the first birthday of her "grandDOG," Scott. She shows a glimpse of how much Scott has grown in the span of 12 months, and just how much their family adores him.
