Just like everybody else, ABC correspondent Deborah Roberts is still adjusting to having her own amusing family members poking in at the oddest times. During her appearance on the "Good Morning America" show, her son and husband decided to sneak up on her. She said:

"The family is just sort of chaotic. It's been kind of a fun time actually Nick sort of blossoms at home in his own environment."

While Deborah was talking to "Good Morning America" broadcaster, Robin Roberts, a mysterious arm suddenly popped up in the background holding a phone.

Robin, who was conducting the interview, exclaimed and asked whose hand that was in the background. She quickly decided that they had an official "Al Roker sighting," which prompted him to stick his head out and gave a bright wave to the camera.

Her son, Nicholas, also popped right in front of the camera, saying a bright hello. Deborah soon noticed that both men were intruding and started chanting "oh no" while shoo-ing them away. Despite the chaos, the family moment was a lovely sight for viewers.

Roberts and Al share such an enduring love story.

Deborah also noted that being at home with her family had been fun. She discussed the ways families with special needs children were adapting to a life without their regularly scheduled therapy sessions.

Deborah's son, Nick, grew up with developmental delays and struggled "somewhere on the autism spectrum and was maybe obsessive-compulsive," as Al once said. Deborah explained how she and her family had been dealing with the new environment. She said:

"Our guy Nick, in addition to his online studies and chores, has also helped mom out a little bit with live television...He's become our new tech guy."

Despite the frenzied moment that was inspired by Nicholas and Al's unexpected cameo, Deborah was all smiles and effortlessly displayed the special bond she shares with both men.

Late in March, the two "criminal minds," Al and Nick, as they fondly call him, took over yet another broadcast show from the comfort of their home, but this time, they weren't irking poor Deborah, it was Al's segment. Al, who was the weatherman for the day, was joined by Nick and once again displayed the loving bond they shared.

The pair even made jokes about how tall Nick had grown, and Al called his son, "not so little," when he stood up and couldn't even fit in the camera frame. The father and son have a hilarious Instagram mini-show called "What We're Cooking," in which Al whips up some meals with the help of his son.
