WWE Star Shad Gaspard's Family Thank Fans for Their Love and Support
The family of missing WWE star Shad Gaspard has spoken out about amid their search for him to thank his fans for all the support they have shown them.
In the days since WWE star Shad Gaspard went missing, his family has spoken out in statements released by his fellow wrestlers on Monday. Lance Archer tweeted:
"[Shad's] family appreciates all the love, support, and concern through this horrible ordeal."
Although it was initially noted in earlier statements that the family was not ready to make any official statements to the media and wished to have their privacy respected, the Gaspard family eventually issued another statement to media outlets, including PEOPLE.
In a heartfelt message, they thanked the first responders who recused Shad's son, Aryeh. They also acknowledged the efforts of the divers, lifeguards, coast guards, and police departments, who had been involved in his search.
According to TMZ, the family had been praying and hoping for his safe return. They encouraged his fans to keep sending their positivity and prayers to Shad. The statement added:
"Shad is a fighter, a warrior and a magical soul. As a family we thank you all for your concern and well wishes."

Leading up to his disappearance on Sunday,
had joined a group of swimmers at Venice Beach, Los Angeles, when they were hit by strong currents while in the water. Lifeguards later rescued his ten-year-old.
However, Shad became submerged after a massive wave hit, and he went missing in the water. It is reported since the discovery of his body on May 20, his WWE co-stars have shared their grief over his death. Natalya Neidhart tweeted her condolence to Shad's family.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johson also took to Twitter to pay tribute to Shad and send support to his family. In a heartfelt message, he wrote:
"My prayers and hope for Shad Gaspard's wife, son and family during this unthinkable time. Man, this is a tough one. A really tough one. Great guy."
Shad was part of the wrestling duo, named "Cryme Time" with his partner JTG. In a reminder of the friendship they shared, JTG posted a chilling screenshot on Instagram of a text conversation they had.
In the text, Shad mentions that if he was to die, he would also love JTG as a bother. The post has many fans showing him their support as he grieves the loss of his friend.
