TMZ: Kobe Bryant's Lakers Ring He Once Gifted to Mom Reportedly Sells for $206k
TMZ claims that one of Kobe Bryant's LA Lakers Championship Rings has just sold for $206,000, and it's allegedly the one he gave his mother years ago.
Kobe Bryant had a total of five championship rings with the LA Lakers, and he gifted one of them to his mom, Pamela Bryant. Now, TMZ reports that the particular 14k gold-and-diamond ring given to Pamela has just sold for $206,080.
When Kobe won his first championship with the LA Lakers during the 1999-2000 season, he purchased identical rings for his parents. Back in the day, his mom Pamela tried to sell the rings along with his jerseys and other memorabilia until Kobe sued her to try and stop the sale.

A SUCCESSFUL AUCTION
Ultimately, Kobe agreed to have his parents sell only six items, which included the championship rings that he gave them. When they were sold to a private collector, they received a total of $280,000 for it.
"Vanessa Bryant revealed that she unexpectedly found a love letter addressed to her while she was cleaning up her husband and daughter's belongings."
Now, the private collector went up to an auctioneer to see how much he could get for the rings, and he sold one for a whopping $206,000. After the success it brought in, Joe "Jellybean" Bryant's ring could possibly be up for auction soon as well and could rake in even more than the first.
A SURPRISE FIND
While the late NBA great's parents decided to sell some of their personal remembrances of Kobe, his wife Vanessa has been doing her best to keep his memory alive. In fact, she recently discovered a love letter from Kobe almost four months after his death, something that warmed her heart.
After turning 38-years-old, Vanessa Bryant revealed that she unexpectedly found a love letter addressed to her while she was cleaning up her husband and daughter's belongings. The Black Mamba and her daughter were two of nine passengers who passed away when their helicopter crashed on January 26.
STAYING STRONG TOGETHER
Vanessa found a letter labeled "to the love of my life," which she decided to keep until her birthday before she opened up to read it. Although she didn't disclose what was inside, the letter had her looking forward to her birthday instead of remembering her tragic loss.
Kobe and Gianna Bryant left behind Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Koko and the four women are trying their best to stay strong for one another despite the difficult past couple of months they've been having.
