Christina Anstead and Ex Tarek El Moussa's Girlfriend Heather Have a Great Relationship

Heather Rae Young reached out to Tarek El Moussa’s ex, Christina Anstead, after getting into a serious relationship with him and accepting his kids as her own.

It is rare to see the current and the ex-girlfriend of a man getting along, but that isn’t the case for Heather Rae Young and her beau’s ex, Christina Anstead.

In an interview with ET, the “Selling Sunset” star went all out to reveal details about her relationship with her boyfriend, Tarek El Moussa’s, ex-wife.

IN A GOOD RELATIONSHIP

Shortly after dating El Moussa, Young realized that she was serious about their relationship and committed caring for his two kids with the “Flip or Flop” actress.

“I’ve never been a mom. I’m new to all this,” Young said. “But as a woman, I just kind of felt like, ‘What would I want being in her situation?’ So it only felt right for me that I would reach out to her.”

Recently, the two have gotten closer as they place their kids as their top priority and maintain positivity around them.

The actress’ thoughts came as she knew she was going to live with Anstead’s kids and be a mother figure to them.

She admitted to having a “great relationship” with the real estate investor and mostly talk about the kids. “It’s been such an amazing experience for me being this new ‘bonus mom,’” she added.

YOUNG’S RELATIONSHIP WITH EL MOUSSA

Young and El Moussa started dating less than a year ago but have blended in each other’s lives well, even living with each other.

The actress was also the first woman El Moussa introduced to his kids following his divorce in 2017, which was finalized in 2018.

Anstead has since remarried but still co-parent her kids with El Moussa. As for Young and El Moussa, wedding bells may come soon, but they are not in a rush.

“I’m just really enjoying what we have right now,” Young said. “I don’t feel like there’s a rush, and honestly, I want him to feel a hundred percent ready.”

CO-PARENTING AMID THE PANDEMIC

Despite the coronavirus pandemic surfacing around the globe, El Moussa and Anstead have no problem co-parenting their kids as they live two streets away from each other.

Recently, the two have gotten closer as they place their kids as their top priority and maintain positivity around them.

“We’re just trying to figure out what’s best for them,” Anstead said. El Moussa’s ex-wife is now married to Ant Anstead and has one child with him.

However, Ant already has two kids from a previous relationship who are both stuck in Europe due to the virus outbreak.
