The woman, who is seven months pregnant, recently discussed things with her mother about how she just wants her partner in the delivery room.

She explained in her Reddit post that she settled on the choice since she's not open to being completely naked in front of her mom. According to her, she doesn't have the sort of relationship where they embrace or kiss.

"We only hug on birthdays and Christmas and it's super awkward," she wrote, "but that's how she raised us and it's how she was raised so it's what's normal for us."

So after this, her mother appeared to be somewhat vexed. This is not her first grandkid. She has three others from her daughter's older brothers, yet she's her lone daughter, so it's more special.

"I told my brother he says I'm an [expletive] for denying her such a moment," the woman wrote. "My partner says is my decision and does not want to get in the middle of it. Now I don't know."

The Reddit user's mom is a housewife "who's always on her phone and taking naps." Her dad, a high-positioning military official, is the one accommodating all her mom's needs.

"Now I love my dad, but he is blindly in love with her. Stupidly so," the daughter said. "He ignored me for months because I called her all sorts of nasty names when I found out what she was doing, because I was so disgusted."

She added that her entire family makes her feels like she's overreacting and that she's the miscreant for judging her mom so cruelly.
