First lady Melania Trump has always been a figure of grace and elegance. Earlier this week, she showed her sense of style once again.
Yesterday, Melania shared a few pictures of a recent visit to the Saint John Paul II National Shrine. There, she and her husband, President Donald Trump, paid their respects to the deceased pope and celebrated his life.
First Lady Melania's pictures showed her in a black sleeveless midi dress. She didn't have much jewelry on, save for her wedding ring, and another crystal ring that she accessorized with.
Her black dress was a solemn nod to the somber mode of the occasion, and she paired it nicely with a pair of black heels. Reports have confirmed that the heels cost £560.
While there are no estimates of the cost of her dress, it appeared to be a rather great investment. The dress fits the First Lady's physique, and she carries it quite well. Melania captioned her Instagram picture:
"@POTUS & I honored the life & legacy of Saint John Paul II at @JP2Shrine today..."
One of the pictures showed the First Lady and her husband standing beside a statue of the deceased pope. There, she complements her entire ensemble with a pair of black shades, while letting her blonde hair run free.
Other pictures showed Melania and Donald in the shrine. They had discussions with several attendants, and they were also seen kneeling in front of the altar.
When Donald took office, Melania decided to continue with the lighter hair tones permanently.
While Melania has always drawn admiration for her choice of clothes, her hair has also received a fair share of attention.
According to a report from last month, the First Lady had gained notoriety for experimenting with hair color while she was younger.
A source who has followed the First Lady explained that Melania had much darker hair while working as a model in her early years. However, she soon began to change it to a lighter shade as she became more popular.
When Donald took office, Melania decided to continue with the lighter hair tones permanently. This, as the source explains, is how her hair has evolved over the years.
While it might not be natural, the source did explain that it is the best thing for the first lady. Amongst other things, it supposedly makes her hair healthier. The gradual change also reportedly works better for Melania, as it's more progressive than a drastic one.
