Fans have taken to Twitter to express their pain after learning about the cause of death of "Twilight" star Gregory Tyree Boyce.
As reported by People Magazine, Gregory, 30, who was found alongside his girlfriend Adepoju, died from the effects of cocaine and fentanyl intoxication, according to Clark County Coroner spokesperson.
Since the revelation of the news, devasted "Twilight" fans have taken to Twitter to express their pain over the cause of Gregory Tyree Boyce's death.
His girlfriend left behind her young son Egypt while Boyce is survived by his 10-year-old daughter, Alaya, and his mom Lisa Wayne.
Many called the uneventful situation as unfortunate with a user describing the events surrounding his death as a "sad epidemic in Hollywood." Another angered user asked if people will ever "realize that drugs kill and destroy" before sending their condolences.
This fan of series channeled her anger to the Twilight team as shared a clip of Boyce's scene from the film series, with a caption that read:
"One of the most pivotal iconic scenes could have never happened without Gregory Tyree Boyce, and the official Twilight page has said nothing about him, rest in peace king."
The news of Boyce's death was first reported by E! Online, who reported that the actor and his Nigerian girlfriend were found dead in their Las Vegas condo on May 13.
The publication revealed that the police's attention was called to their apartment after Boyce's cousin noticed that the former's car was still parked outside even though he was meant to be in Los Angeles. The source noted that Boyce was putting his life in order and trying to start a business before his death.
Deadline recalls that Boyce played the pivotal role of Tyler in The Twilight Saga, a teenage boy who nearly crashes into Bella with his van, causing Edward to come to her rescue.
His girlfriend left behind her young son Egypt while Boyce is survived by his 10-year-old daughter, Alaya, and his mom Lisa Wayne, who paid a heartfelt tribute to her baby boy on Facebook.
She talked about his dreams to open a wings business and how he always encouraged her whenever she was worried or sad.
Although most people know him for his work in the vampire movie, IMDb notes that he had another acting credit in the 2018 film, "Apocalypse."
