HER LUPUS DIAGNOSIS
Years ago, Princess was diagnosed with Lupus when she was only 11-years-old. At the time, both Snoop and Shante were not well-aware of the disease that affects millions of people around the world.
The disease attacks one's immune system and can cause heart disease, kidney disease, and stroke. At the time of her diagnosis, Snoop and Shante hit a rough patch in their relationship and were headed for divorce.
STAYING STRONG TOGETHER
Hoping to care for their child and realizing the importance of staying together through it all, they did not push through with the divorce and they worked towards saving their marriage.
On her dad's show, "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood," it is revealed that she got her nickname from Snoop's love for his daughter's dark skin.
