LL Cool J's Wife Simone Smith Talks about Her Passion for Husband, Children, and Jewelry

LL Cool J's wife, Simone Smith, is passionate about loving her husband as well as her children and grandchildren. The mother of four also revealed that she has a genuine interest in making jewelry for people.

Simone Smith recently took to social media, where she opened up about some of the most important things to her. In an Instagram post, Smith shared a black and white photo of herself that showed her donning a jacket alongside some beautiful neck jewelry.

The picture also saw Smith holding the tip of her hair stylishly while she flashed a pretty smile for the camera.

Captioning the snap, Smith tagged the post "Moody Monday" before revealing some of the things she had passion for. In her note, Smith listed that she is passionate about God, her husband, her children, and her grandson. She also added:

"Designing jewelry that brings style and beauty to all the Queens that wear it, is my PASSION."

Smith concluded the caption by asking her fans and followers to comment on what they are passionate about, and she got several responses in return.

One user wrote, "My passion is to make myself better. God is so good!!" while another added, "I have a passion for God and cooking❤✊?." A third user also commented, "I have a passion for making people's lives better. ❤️" with many others listing their passion.

LL and Smith met through a mutual friend in the early '80s, and by 1995, they got married.

In addition to being passionate about God, her family, and her business, Smith also appears to have a passion for charity.

Last December, she partnered with the American Cancer Society (ACS) to donate towards the "Beat Cancer Like A Boss" campaign. While speaking, Smith explained that she hoped the Christmas season would encourage others to give while adding:

"Every season is a season for giving."

Apart from her donations last year, Smith had previously been involved in giving to the "American Cancer Society." Back in 2015, she showcased her jewelry collection at Macy's, and $1 from her first 200 sales was donated to ACS.

In 2004, Smith was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma, a rare bone cancer, for which she underwent a 15-hour surgery during which her right tibia was removed and replaced.

This was followed by a two and a half year recovery to learn how to walk all over again. Although Smith got over her illness with courage and determination, her husband, LL Cool J, also played a significant role.

While speaking about the experience, LL Cool J revealed that his wife's battle with cancer ignited activism in him. He also added that the ordeal taught him how to be genuinely supportive.

Cool J and Smith met through a mutual friend in the early '80s, and by 1995, they got married. Currently, they share four children and are doting grandparents to their grandson, King James.

Despite their several years together, Smith and LL Cool J continue to show off their love for each other on social media. In celebration of their 23rd wedding anniversary in 2018, Smith took to Instagram, to pay a sweet tribute for her husband.
