Orlando Bloom Shares Why He's Excited to Become a Father Again This Time with Fiancée Katy Perry

Orlando Bloom is opening up about his excitement on welcoming his first daughter with fiancee with Katy Perry and becoming a dad again.

Actor Orlando Bloom is more than thrilled to become a father again and welcome his unborn baby girl with fiancee Katy Perry.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star revealed this during an interview with Good Morning America about his new role as a dad to a girl. The actor, who also has son Flynn, 9, confessed that he was "excited" about his baby girl's coming. He described the moment as marvelous, saying:

"It's a magical time, you know when an angel pops into the planet, which is what it feels like for me."

While speaking about his role as a new father, the 43-year-old stated his plans to be present and helpful as he and Katy "nurture a life into the world." He also confessed that he's genuinely looking forward to bonding with his second child while "doing the bottle thing" and staying up late into the night while the rest of the world is asleep.

[Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom] shared the news of their pregnancy in March via Katy's music video "Never Worn White." By April, the "Fireworks" crooner already announced that they were having a girl.

Bloom didn't fail to speak about his latest movie role in the war drama "Outpost," which tells the true-life story of Lieutenant Benjamin D. Keating and is based on a 2012 book of the same name. The English actor playing the role of Keating inspires him to be "one of those men in my life."

E! News notes that soon-to-be mom, Perry feels the same way about welcoming her first child. However, hers is mixed with every other "emotion under the sun."

It will be recalled that the couple shared the news of their pregnancy in March via Katy's music video "Never Worn White." By April, the "Fireworks" crooner already announced that they were having a girl.

People Magazine reports that Bloom revealed that Perry has impressed him during the pregnancy as it is "business as usual" for her. He described his woman as "a force of nature" and even joked about not being able to tell that she is pregnant except through her protruding belly.

ET Online recalls that Katy spoke about her fiance's joy at becoming a father to a girl during an appearance on "Mix 104.1's Karson & Kennedy." She said that Bloom was enthusiastic to have a "daddy's little girl" and spoke about their plans to name their daughter when they finally set eyes on her.
