E! News: Tamar Braxton Transferred to Mental Health Facility for Specialized Treatment – Inside Her Case
Fans of singer and TV personality Tamar Braxton got a little scare last week concerning her mental health. However, she appears to be gearing up for a recovery.
Recently, E! News reported that the singer had been moved to a mental health facility. There, her family members and friends expect her to be able to access the best care and make a full recovery.

Braxton has been under some heavy surveillance for the past few days now. The actress went unconscious last week, with many believing that she might have attempted to kill herself.
While she is doing better now, her family appears to be taking no chances with her. The mental health facility should help with improving her condition. An insider said of her condition:
"Tamar is not out of the woods by any means. Doctors are still keeping a very close eye on her for her safety."
The insider added that the actress had been working towards improving her mental health for about a year now. However, she experienced some difficulty with the quarantine.
Reports confirmed that she could have overdosed on alcohol and medication.
It would appear that these difficulties — whatever they are — led to some sort of relapse. Still, the fact that she is now in stable condition will come as a relief to many.
The health of the 43-year-old got called into question a few days ago. Per reports, her boyfriend, David Adefeso, had found her lying unconscious. A source explained at the time that the couple had gotten away and were relaxing at home.
The Los Angeles Fire Department also confirmed that they received a distress call about an unconscious adult female. Later, reports confirmed that she could have overdosed on alcohol and medication. A source said:
"David does not believe that she was trying to kill herself, despite experiencing some rough times in quarantine."
Emergency services eventually took Braxton to the hospital, where they watched her round the clock. Earlier this week, sources confirmed that the actress had woken up and was communicating.
However, not much in detail has come about whether it was a suicide attempt. Fans have so far shared their best wishes to the actress and her family at this time.
WeTV, the network where her show, "Tamar Braxton: Get Ya Life!" airs, also released a statement. Now that she will be going to a new facility, she appears to be on the mend.
