Talented singer Keyshia Cole has been in the news lately and has created a lot of buzz across social media platforms as she gears towards releasing her next album.

In one of the photos, Cole sported a bright smile while adorning a cute grey t-shirt with black shorts. The most striking thing about her appearance was her purple-colored wig.
Cole's other photo showed the 38-year-old singer posing in a white shirt dress with stylish high-heeled, ankle-length black boots. She completed the look with her purple-colored wig that stretched down to her ankles. Cole captioned the photo,
"Studio vibes! Getting back in."
Cole's post garnered several reactions from her fans in less than a day, with many of them in awe of her beauty and urging the singer to feed their appetite with new tunes.
Cole's fans might get to see the singer in action very soon after the Oakland songstress seemingly challenged Grammy Award-winning singer Ashanti to a head-to-head battle on the Verzuz platform.
The "Verzuz Battle" between Cole and Ashanti may never happen as neither of the R&B queens has agreed to it.
Recently, rap legends Snoop Dogg and DMX thrilled fans in the highly anticipated "Battle of the Dogs." The old-timers took fans on a trip down memory lane with a performance of their classic hits and records.
However, before the dust could settle, fans began creating a frenzy on a potential battle between the R&B divas who reigned supreme in the early 2000s. While reacting to the rumored battle between the divas, one fan tweeted,
"I love Chris brown but he not winning no [Verzuz] against Usher just like Keyshia Cole not winning against Ashanti. It's something about that old music that's unmatched."
While many fans are already anticipating the rumored battle between Cole and Ashanti, others are not so keen on the matchup and suggested a different pairing.

In June, Cole signed on to Primary Wave Music for management. The announcement came shortly after the singer signed with BMG and reunited with producer Ron Fair as she began work on her next album.
After a not so impressive sixth and seventh studio album, Cole will be eager to prove that she still got it by setting the billboards on fire with her upcoming eight studio album.
