How Jenna Bush Hager and Family Celebrated the First Birthday of Her Son Hal

Jenna Bush Hager celebrated son Henry Harold "Hal's" first birthday with members of her extended family; she shared pictures and a video from the celebration with fans on Instagram.

Jenna Bush Hager took to her Instagram page to share adorable pictures of her one-year-old son Hal's birthday celebration, which was held at her parents' ranch in Texas.

The celebration was marked with a pool party, with one of Jenna's uploaded pictures showing Hal flanked by his sisters., Mila, 7, and Poppy, 5.

Hal's birthday party was made extra special with the presence of his grandparents, former President George W. Bush, and his wife, Laura, who were able to spend time with their grandkids after eight months of not doing so.

The whole family got together to sing Hal a "Happy Birthday" song, presenting him with a cupcake that one of his sisters blew out. Hager captioned the post:

"Happiest Birthday to the baby of our dreams Hal Pal. (...) Glad we could celebrate early with the ones who love you most."

Jenna revealed during last Tuesday's episode of "Today" that she was able to reunite with her parents and that every member of her family was tested for COVID-19 before the visit.

She also said that the meeting was the second time that George and Laura would be seeing their youngest grandson, Hal, since his birth.

Henry was derived from her husband's lineage, with baby Hal's father and grandfather bearing the name.

Last Monday marked Jenna Hager's return to the "Today" studio in New York since March when the pandemic forced her and some other staff to work from home.

The television personality had earlier revealed in March that she hugged her kids, called her friends and family, and found comfort in books while quarantining at home.

Jenna Hager shares her three adorable kids with her husband, Henry Hager, who is the son of former Republican party chairman, John. H. Hager. The couple married on May 10, 2008.

Jenna and Henry welcomed Hal on August 2, 2019. A delighted Hager told People that she and Henry were overcome with joy to welcome their son to the world. She also explained the history behind Hal's names — Henry and Harold.

According to her, Henry was derived from her husband's lineage, with baby Hal's father and grandfather bearing the name. On the other hand, Harold originated from her maternal grandfather, whom she loved dearly.
