Fans and lovers of "How to Get Away with Murder" are familiar with Annalise Keating and her love interest, Nate Lahey. The pair have given some steamy and drool-worthy scenes and their dynamic is fascinating.

Billy Brown plays the role of Nate, the adulterous and over-ambitious love interest of Annalise, played by Viola Davis.

For Brown, playing Nate's role has been an exciting process, and getting to work alongside Davis (who plays Annalise) has been nothing but fun. Speaking of his character's love and hate relationship with Annalise, Brown explains,

"Being a cop compels Nate to seek out what's behind Annalise's motivation… There is a love for Annalise, not the same he has for his wife, but it's more of a strong like and infatuation."

The character Brown plays has developed over the years and from the fourth season, his character had a change of heart such that he chose to put his career before anyone else, even his love interest Annalise.

He is the exclusive voice for commercials for the United States Marine Corps.

Of his love scenes on the series, Brown revealed that the cast and crew were able to work around it such that the steamy scenes were comfortable to film for all those on set.

Brown is not a newcomer when it comes to the acting scene and although the character he plays is often hated on by fans of the show, he has proven that he can embody a character and bring them to life that they become relatable.

Aside from "How to Get Away with Murder," Brown has acted in movies like "Proud Mary" alongside Taraji P. Henson. His other feature-film credits include "The Lost World: Jurassic Park," "Race to Witch Mountain," and "Star Trek," among others.

Brown also has an incredible voice and has done voice-overs for various projects and films. Currently, he is the exclusive voice for commercials for the United States Marine Corps.

Love or hate the character Nate Lahey, but Billy Brown has done adequate justice and has left a resonating print on the hearts of lovers and fans of the show.
