Man Walked Out of the Hospital after Hearing His Wife's Diagnosis
A man walked out of the hospital and drove to a hotel after discovering that his wife would not be able to have kids due to her ovarian cancer diagnosis.
The story of the day is about a thirty-three-year-old man who asked Reddit users if he made the wrong decision by walking out of the hospital after his wife was diagnosed with an illness.

The man explained that he got a call from the Emergency room on Friday after his thirty-two-year-old wife drove herself to the hospital because of severe pelvic pain.
At the time of the call, the man was on a business trip, but he made it to the hospital on Saturday morning before his wife woke up.
Shortly after his wife woke up, a doctor came in and broke the news that her transvaginal and CT scan results showed that she has ovarian cancer.
While the woman started crying, the man stayed still and was trying to grasp what the doctor had just told them. The doctor then explained that the woman would most likely need a full hysterectomy and would have her Fallopian tubes and ovaries removed. This automatically means that she won’t be able to have children.

On hearing this, the man got up from his chair and became overwhelmed with anger. According to the man, he had been begging his wife to have kids since they were 26, but she refused because of her career.
Right after hearing the news, the man’s wife grabbed his hand and told him she believes they’ll overcome the disease and could even adopt kids later on.

This, however, did not sit well with the man, and he ended up walking out of the door and eventually drove to a hotel. While at the hotel, the man was able to get over his anger, but he was still disappointed that his dream of having a family was over.
The man also added that his mother in law called him while he was at the hotel. She told him to stay wherever he was and not bother coming back to the hospital.
Reddit users also seemed to disapprove of the man’s behavior and one user wrote, “your wife has cancer and you’re throwing a tantrum that you might have to adopt?”
Another user added, “Sounds like you value the idea of having a family over the reality of having a marriage” with many others also describing his attitude as selfish!
In another story, a man sought help from Reddit users to ask about his wife's unexplainable behavior of showing more affection towards their daughter, and not their two sons.
