Check Out This Rare Throwback Photo of Tia and Tamera Mowry at One of Their First Photo Shoots

Tia Mowry shared an adorable throwback picture of herself and her twin sister Tamera showing the moment they had their first photoshoot in Dallas to kick off their acting careers.

Thursdays are for throwbacks and Tia Mowry kept to the tradition by posting a special throwback picture of herself and her beloved twin sister Tamera Mowry.

The picture showed the twins, still kids at the time, looking chic in their outfits. Tamera wore a pink long-sleeved top with "Marines" written on it. She matched the top with a white buttoned skirt, red socks, and white laced sneakers.

Tia, on the other hand, wore a white long-sleeved shirt with a chequered pocket and shoulder. She matched the top with black pants that featured chequered sides, and white laced sneakers.

The twins, who were all smiles in the photo, completed their looks with white caps on their heads. Tia captioned the post, writing:

"...You can see our kid's faces in this photo. This was our first photoshoot in Dallas Texas, to start our acting careers!"

Tia added that she and Tamera were 8-years old when they took the photograph and their lives changed five years later when they bagged the "Sister, Sister" roles.

The nostalgic post by Tia brought back sweet memories to many fans who commented, with most saying they could not wait for Netflix to begin streaming episodes of "Sister, Sister."

Plans were put in place to make those wishes come true, but those plans fell through due to clearance issues.

As twins, Tia and Tamera have a special bond that is unending. If there were any doubts about that, the sisters confirmed their close relationship with special tributes to each other on their birthday.

The twins took to their social media pages to post heartwarming messages to one another. Tamera shared a picture of herself and Tia, tagging her as her ride or die since birth. Tia returned her sister's favor with a heartfelt tribute, writing:

"#happybirthday to my womb mate @tameramowrytwo Wow! Is all I can say. Being a #twin is a #blessing."

Tia recounted some of the memorable experiences she and her sister shared. She accompanied her post with several pictures of them from their childhood to more recent times.

Though the sisters have a close relationship, there were times when they had issues communicating with each other and always argued. Fans caught some of those moments while watching the reality show, "Tia and Tamera."

However, the sisters found a way to deal with those issues by both going to a therapist. It was a move that paid dividends and greatly improved their understanding of each other, with Tamera saying that she and Tia found it beneficial.

There have been calls by many sections of fans for the reboot of "Sister, Sister." Plans were put in place to make those wishes come true, but those plans fell through due to clearance issues.

Reacting to the failed reboot of "Sister, Sister" and "The Game," another series that she starred in, Tia said that everyone involved in the planning gave their best shots.

However, those plans faltered due to issues bordering on rights and legality. Tia also expressed sadness that the reboots did not come to fruition.

It is a feeling shared by many fans, but they can at least make do with watching the sisters again when Netflix begins airing the original episodes of "Sister, Sister" from September 1.
