Kenny's sons, who were only 16 when their father passed away in March 2020, have spoken openly about the profound influence he had on their lives. In an interview with People, Jordan shared that during tough times at school, his father encouraged him to stay true to himself and reminded him of his unique sense of humor.

The twins also fondly recalled "Super Saturdays," a family tradition filled with simple joys like having breakfast at McDonald's and going to Chuck E. Cheese. They have continued to honor that tradition by visiting the same places they once shared with their dad. Justin reflected, "I miss everything about him. He was a really fun dad."

During the interview, Wanda also shared that she often sees glimpses of Kenny in the twins' mannerisms. From the way they stand to the way they carry themselves.
"I always tell them, 'That was your dad’s look.' The older they get, the more they want to know about him. I hear them tell people, 'My dad used to stand like that.' It's so sweet," she said.

The young men, who graduated from high school in June 2023, also inherited their father's love of music. Justin began learning guitar, inspired by his dad, while Jordan took an interest in playing drums. They named some of Kenny's timeless hits — "The Gambler," "Coward of the County," and "Love Will Turn You Around" — as their personal favorites.
