Rod Stewart on Rachel Hunter Wanting a Divorce: 'It Knocked Me for Six'
Stewart touched briefly on his relationship with Hunter in a 2019 interview. The musician recalled his shock when Hunter expressed she wanted to separate. "I couldn't believe it. I was a rock star. You don't dump a rock star! It knocked me for six. It was a huge shock," he said.
However, he acknowledged that Hunter was young when they married, and her life changed drastically and quickly; she became a wife, and a year later, she was a mother. "My sister Mary told me she was too young for me as we were walking down the aisle. And she was right," he reflected.

Rachel Hunter Moved on with Ice Hockey Player Jarret Stoll — The Former Couple Almost Married
Shortly after her divorce from Stewart was finalized, Hunter found love with thirteen-years-younger athlete Jarret Stoll. The pair dated for nearly two years and shared a home in Los Angeles with Hunter's two kids.
News of their engagement broke in August 2008, with Hunter's rep saying she had "never been happier." "She has been with Jarret for a long time, and everyone is thrilled for them [...]. He is an amazing guy, and she is an amazing girl – they're truly meant to be," the rep gushed.

They planned to marry in August 2009, but Stoll reportedly called off their engagement without explanation. Rumors of their age gap and Hunter's "high-maintenance tastes" were said to have played a role in their separation.
However, she later addressed the matter, saying it was right for them to split, though admitting it was difficult for her. Stoll later moved on to sports newscaster Erin Andrews, and the pair married in 2017.

Rachel Hunter's Love Life Prediction from a Medium
In June 2023, Hunter appeared on "Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry" and delved into her family trauma with the clairvoyant eponymous host. The pair briefly touched on Hunter's love life, with Henry sharing that he saw Hunter at her romantic "happiest" a few years down the line.
Henry reserved that Hunter would likely find love within five years, but she would only be at her happiest romantically once she passed that mark. Until then, her current relationship status remains unknown, but she has maintained a decent relationship with Stewart.
The 78-year-old found everlasting love with Penny Lancaster, who welcomed his children from his previous relationships as her own. She also had sons, Alastair and Aiden Stewart, with the singer, and the couple now dotes on a blended family.
