'Grey's Anatomy' Star Camilla Luddington Welcomes a Baby Boy with Her Husband Matthew Alan

Camilla Luddington is the newest mom on social media, as the latest update showed that she recently welcomed her first child. On her social media page, the new mom gave fans a peek of her infant.

Camilla Luddington is a second-time, and she is looking as radiant as ever. On her Instagram page, the "Grey's Anatomy" star, shared a candid snapshot of her and her newborn son enjoying a lovely moment on her hospital bed.

Luddington, 36, rocked the post-birth afterglow as she presented a warm smile for the camera. The "Tomb Raider" star has her son resting on her chest as she cradled him in her arms. She captioned her exciting post:

"After what felt like a year-long third trimester...it finally happened!! Matt and I are SOOO happy to announce the birth of our sweet baby boy."

The Hollywood actress went on as she let fans know her baby name was "Lucas" while referring to him as her "little lion." Many admirers were filled with joy as they congratulated her and showed affection in the comments.

Luddington stated that she thought she would have another baby girl as her symptoms were similar to her first pregnancy.

Luddington's son, Lucas Mathew Alan, joins big sister, Hayden, who she welcomed with her spouse, Matthew Alan, in 2017. Speaking with People, the star actress admitted that it was challenging being pregnant amid a pandemic.

However, the brighter side provided her with more bonding time with her loved ones. The mom-of-two made it known that Lucas was the name she and her husband have always thought about and was top on their list during her first pregnancy.

Luddington stated that she thought she would have another baby girl as her symptoms were similar to her first pregnancy. The 36-year-old expressed the fears she had, one of which was contracting COVID-19. She also mentioned that:

"I was also worried about things like my husband not being able to be present with me during the birth."

In 2016, Luddington had a delightful surprise for her admirers after she informed them that she was becoming a first-time expectant mom.

On her Instagram page, the British born TV star shared a creative photo of herself carrying a large pumpkin that shaped the date of her baby's arrival.

The award-winning actress started her career as an 11-year-old at Italia Conti Academy in England. And so far, it has been a smooth ride in Hollywood.

Luddington displayed her exceptional acting skills when she played Kate Middleton in "William &Kate." At the time, she was privy to only one of Middleton's interviews during her research.
