Pregnant Meghan McCain Shares an Old Pic of Husband Ben Kissing Her on Their Third Date

Meghan McCain recalled one of her and her husband Ben Domenech's first date on Thursday with a special #ThrowbackThursday post on her Instagram page. "The View" co-host shared a picture of herself and Domenech kissing on one of their date nights.

The photo showed the couple at a restaurant, with Domenech wearing a suit, shirt, and tie. McCain wore a black jacket over a white top and moved her head toward Domenech as he gestured to kiss her, his eyes closed, while she focused her eyes on the camera.

In the caption to the post, McCain said that the picture was taken many years ago in what was likely her and Domenech's third date, adding that they were drunk on whiskey sours. She also wrote:

"Cue to today, and I'm a few weeks away from having your baby… Life is bananas, and we have been through the most insane shit the world can throw at a couple."

Continuing, McCain noted that despite the challenges she and Domenech faced, they somehow always managed to come out of the other side with their love still intact.

The television show co-host went on to narrate how their love story began and how she thought after their first date that things would not work out between them.

In an episode of "The View," she said being in quarantine with Domenech had been like marriage on acid.

However, the joke was now on her. McCain further expressed her love for her husband before ending the caption with the quote,

"Buy the ticket, take the ride." ♥️??."

McCain and Domenech got married in December 2017. The couple is expecting their first child together. McCain's pregnancy forced her to start working from home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the news of her pregnancy, many people began taking an interest in McCain's husband, taking to Google to discover more about the controversial conservative writer.

McCain has been in quarantine with her beau amid the COVID-19 pandemic, which has given her the chance to know more about Domenech. In an episode of "The View," she said being in quarantine with him had been like marriage on acid.

Explaining her view, she said that spending 24 hours of every day with just one person meant that everything she knew about Domenech had heightened to the tenth degree.

In June, McCain gave a rare update on her pregnancy, revealing that the baby in her womb moved around all day like a wildcat. The 35-year-old is yet to share any pictures of her baby bump.

She opened up about not doing so in a social media post, noting that she took her and her baby's privacy seriously, having been at the receiving end of negative press in the past because of her outspoken nature.

Despite her pregnancy, McCain, who is eight and a half months in, has continued to appear on "The View." In a chat with ET, she said that she would push through as long as she could. McCain noted that she was not the first pregnant woman on the show, adding that everyone had been kind and very amenable.
