Keanu Reeves Reportedly Reveals 'Matrix 4' Script Involves a Love Story

Famous American actor and star of the Matrix movie, Keanu Reeves, has opened up about filming the fourth installment of the blockbuster. The star also revealed that the new Matrix would be a love story.

American actor Keanu Reeves in an interview yesterday, opened up about filming the fourth installment of the hit movie “Matrix.” The star divulged some exciting tidbits about the yet-to-be-released film.

Fans of the blockbuster action movie sure have some hot romance to look forward to as the star revealed that the forthcoming film would have a love story.

The actor also expressed his excitement and the great fortune of shooting another installment. He added that he and director Lana Wachowski were currently shooting magic. 

He explained that the renowned director had written a beautiful script. It was then he revealed that the new movie was going to have a little touch of romance. He said

“We are out here trying to make some magic...She has written a beautiful script that is a love story, it’s inspiring.”

The star tried to avoid revealing spoilers for the much-anticipated movie. However, he disclosed that it was currently being filmed in Berlin, Germany.  

The 56-year-old actor, when asked if the fourth film will be a prequel to the original trilogy, replied that the first was going to remain in the past. It seems like the new installment will be a massive step into the future. 

Reeves admitted that his agents back in the day thought the name “Keanu” was a little confusing.

Reeves went on to praise the impressive COVID-19 safety protocols on the set of filming "The Matrix." He further explained that the rhythm of filmmaking had not been affected or halted during the measures. 

He revealed that filming had begun initially in San Francisco, but some locals had complained about property destruction on the set of the action movie.

He further divulged that filming had been moved to Berlin but had been placed on hold in February due to the pandemic. He added that Germany had been a better choice because of their quick response to the pandemic. 

Reeves, who is popularly known for featuring in blockbuster action flicks, also recently revealed that the one role he would have loved to play was "Wolverine." He further added that he knew he was not going to get the role when he auditioned.

Earlier this year, it was also reported that the star almost had his name changed at the beginning of his career. Reeves admitted that his agents back in the day thought the name “Keanu” was a little confusing.

The star then offered to call himself “Chuck Spadina,” which was thankfully shot down. Years later, the name “Keanu Reeves” has become one of the most popular names in the movie industry.
