Princess Love Speaks Candidly about Her Marriage after Husband Ray J Filed for Divorce

Princess Love recently opened up about her relationship with Ray J after he claimed to want his family back only a few days after filing for divorce behind her back.

During a recent episode of "Out Loud with Claudia Jordan," reality star Princess Love spoke about her back and forth relationship with her husband, Ray J.

The mother of two made it clear that she was tired of playing games and has no desire to stay in an unhappy marriage just because of the kids.

Earlier this month, Ray J filed for divorce from Princess, only two months after she dismissed a divorce lawsuit she filed back in May. Following her divorce filing, Princess was quick to throw shade at Ray with some cryptic posts shared on social media.

Speaking about Ray's divorce filing, Princess said she was caught off-guard and heard about it after a friend sent a screenshot to her for confirmation.

Princess then reached out to her attorney who confirmed that Ray had, in fact, filed for divorce behind her back. Things, however, took a turn when a few days later, Ray came out to say he wants his family back. According to him, he acted a tad spontaneously without thinking things through.

Princess stated that even though she will always love Ray, she has not reached out to him for any explanations or reconciliation.

The rapper stated that he was willing to work on their marriage and even expressed interest in marriage counseling which he refused to go for before.

About this, Princess believes he is playing with their marriage and wants no part of it. According to her, they were trying to get their marriage back on track and had agreed to get a new house before he filed for divorce. This made it even more disturbing for her.

Princess stated that even though she will always love Ray, she has not reached out to him for any explanations or reconciliation.

The reality star revealed that she has been really happy and at peace lately. She added that she has also not cried in a while.

Ray J and Princess tied the knot in 2016. By May 2018, they welcomed their first child, daughter Melody Love. Trouble started brewing for the couple when in November 2019, Princess accused Ray of abandoning her in Vegas.

At the time, she was pregnant with their second child, Epik Ray. Though it remains uncertain whether the couple will go through with a divorce or not, Princess appears to be doing just fine — with or without Ray.
