Daily Joke: A Man Finds Himself in Trouble

A man was in desperate need of help after experiencing financial trouble; hence, he ran to the church and turned to God for help.

Businesses, in one way, are a gamble; sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. A man was on the losing end of the stick after his business went bankrupt and affected his personal savings.

He ran to a nearby church in dire need for help and desperately pleaded to God for help. "Oh God, please help me," he prayed. "I've lost my business, and if I don't find some money soon, I'm going to lose my house as well. Please let me win the lottery."

That evening, he walked home and anticipated the winning lottery numbers on the television. However, he did not win. The next day, the man went back to the same church, knelt, and prayed.

"God, please let me win the lotto. I've lost my business, my house, and I'm going to lose my car as well." he said. With hope, he headed back home to watch the lottery at night, but still, no luck.

Again, he returned to the church, knelt, closed his eyes, and desperately prayed again. He spoke to the Lord and said he already lost his business, house, car, and soon, his wife.

"I don't ask for help very often, and I've always been a good person," he said. "Why can't you just let me win the lottery this one time so I can get my life in order."

After a few seconds, a beam of light lit the church, and the sky parted ways to open. Suddenly, thunder roared, and a voice spoke -- it was God. He said:

"My son. You need to buy a lottery ticket first."
