Texas Teenager Maci Currin Breaks Record for World's Longest Legs

A Texas teenager, Maci Currin, has been honored with a Guinness World Record accolade as the person with the longest legs in the world.

Maci Currin, a teenager from Texas, found herself as the poster girl for graceful legs as she recently became acclaimed for her long limbs. According to the renowned Guinness World Record, Currin has the World's longest legs, and she flaunts it without inhibitions.

In a YouTube compilation by the franchise, Currin opened up that she first noticed her exceptional height in preschool, where she was literally taller than everyone. Currin said that grew taller each year, and her height progress was quite consistent.

Currin, who is seventeen, stands at 6ft10, while her legs take most of the length. Her left leg is 53.255 inches long while her right leg is a bit shorter at 52.874. Speaking with Guinness World Record, the tall girl said about her height:

"You don't really fit into the category of 'normal,' You're unique, you have something different, and people are drawn to it."

While the youngster understands the strength in loving and accepting herself, she revealed the downside to her exceptional height. Currin stated that she had challenges when it came to shopping, entering cars, and often bumping her head into things.

Another Guiness World Record, Jyoti Amge, a 26-year-old woman from India, holds the accolade for World's smallest woman.

Currin mentioned that shopping for clothes was quite tasking because she would hardly get outfits that fit properly. She always had to resort to getting custom made outfits. Currin's dad is 6ft5 tall, her brother, 6ft4, and her mom is 5ft7.

The teenager's long legs are a sight to behold, but on the flip side of another Guinness World Record, Jyoti Amge, a 26-year-old woman from India, holds the accolade for World's smallest woman.

Amge, who stands at two feet and weighs 12 pounds, is referred to as a goddess in her hometown and is gradually making a name for herself. While she does not accept the narrative of being a goddess, Amge has expressed her dreams of becoming an actress.

TLC's new docu-series titled "Extraordinary People" is set to follow Amge's daily life as she maneuvers a world detached from her own reality. Kyoto Amge is the last child of five siblings born to her parents, and she was diagnosed with primordial dwarfism at birth.

It is worthy of note that many famous people that fans have come to love and adore have diverse height differences that did not deter or mar their stardom. Iconic singer Lady Gaga mostly opts out for gigantic heels, but she is 5ft1 tall.

Stars like Kourtney Kardashian, Maisie Williams, Ariana Grande, Eva Longoria, Kim Kardashian, and Reese Witherspoon, to mention a few, all have heights ranging around 5ft to 5ft2. Actor Tom Cruise is an enigma on TV, but his 5ft7 frame is not a show stopper.
