Royal fans will be thrilled to hear that Prince Harry and his wife, Duchess Meghan, have shared their very first professional photograph since they stepped down from the senior roles in the British family.

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have generally not been photographed together since leaving the British Royal Family. The couple stepped down from their senior royal roles in January 2020.

Harry and Meghan made the shocking decision after the duchess was continuously harassed by the media. The pair ended up moving to Canada for a few months before relocating to the United States.

Over the weekend, “Hello!” magazine, shared the royal couple’s first photographic debut since they stepped down. The black-and-white image featured the couple posing together while Meghan sat and smiled on a chair.

Harry balanced himself on the arm of the chair and smiled slightly as his wife draped her arms on him. They both appeared in the photograph in suits, however, it seemed like Meghan’s one was a darker shade.

In the caption of the post, the publication explained that the couple was both “Time’s 100” alumni. The image shared by “Hello!” magazine on their Instagram page was actually captured for “Time” magazine.

The photo was released on Friday, October 16, 2020, and Matt Sayles was the one who took the image. The picture was taken for Meghan and Harry’s upcoming “Time 100” Talk which will be held this week.

Harry and Meghan’s October 20, 2020, talk will also feature other celebrities as co-hosts. Rappler CEO Maria Ressa and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian are set to be co-hosts of the event.

The “Teenager Therapy” podcast hosts will feature as their guests. Since moving to California in the US, Harry and Meghan have allegedly become quite close to his family amid the novel coronavirus pandemic.

A source who spoke to “Entertainment Tonight,” revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s family drama with the royals was exaggerated. Instead, the current pandemic has reportedly brought them closer together.

Besides building relationships with their family, the couple is also excited about their new work. The duo is working on their nonprofit and the insider claimed fans would be seeing more of them.

The couple’s new home in Santa Barbara was described as their forever home, according to royal correspondent Omid Scobie. The correspondent dished out the news in his new novel titled, “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family.”

Scobie noted how difficult it was for the royal couple to find a home amid the pandemic. The co-author claimed that the Sussexes paid for the house with their own money and not with the Royal Family’s cash.
