American country singer, Thomas Rhett had some touching words for his little girl, Willa Gray, in his sweet tribute to her as she turned a year older.

Thomas Rhett's little daughter, Willa Gray, is ringing in her fifth year. Her dad celebrated her most sweetly in an Instagram birthday shoutout.

Rhett recently pulled at his fans' heartstrings with several snapshots of his daughter, displaying some of her memorable moments. The singer's caption was the highlight as he honored her with warm words.

The first snapshot was a throwback showing Rhett and a younger version of Willa Gray lounging in their home while enjoying father-daughter moments.

The next slide was no less heartwarming with little Willa Gray learning how to swing. Daddy was there to give the support needed. In his caption, Rhett briefly let fans know that his updates were quite simultaneous to Halloween and Willa's big day. He continued:

Rhett and Lauren Akins, his wife of eight years, welcomed little Willa Gray to their family in 2017 after adopting her from a children's home in Uganda. At the time of adoption, Willa Gray was a little above one year old.

Leading up to their decision to adopt a child, Rhett and Akins tried several times to have kids. After the little girl joined the family, the couple welcomed two kids, Ada James, and Lennon Love.

Besides making his mark in music, Rhett holds fatherhood as an utmost priority. Early this year, he treated fans to a heartening tune about fatherhood. Rhett wrote the song with his dad and fellow star, Rhett Akins, to help drive home his point.
