Brooks,37, made it known that he had been crying a lot, and after each bout, he realized that he usually felt better. The star noted in the revealing moment:
"... I've learned how to honor emotions in the moment and let them come up and through me and out of me, and a lot of times, that's through crying…"
The star continued as he noted that it was not always like that due to his macho feelings and being a hockey player. The 37-year-old shared that suppressing emotions was not ideal while showing emotions brings about liberation.
Before [Hough] filed for divorce, she and Laich decided to quarantine separately, but after a while, they spent some time together
The former athlete and his DWTS pro partner, Hough, shared in May that they were discontinuing their marriage after three years of being together. An insider noted that the couple's separation had been a long time coming because they struggled to keep it together.
However, it seems both of them are having a hard time coming to terms with their divorce. Close sources reveal that while Brooks was initially not interested in getting a divorce and is going through some emotional challenges, Hough is also not "in a good place."
Before the dance pro filed for divorce, she and Laich decided to quarantine separately, but after a while, they spent some time together, and according to a close source, the duo was trying to work things out.
The NHL icon and Hough were seen in public dining together and also staying together at a lake house. In 2017, Hough shared that their romance started as love at first sight.
Once while reflecting on 2020 on his podcast, Laich noted that he made a deliberate effort to focus on love and laughter amid the global crisis. He pointed out that the two factors helped him draw closer to his loved ones and connect with them on a deeper and more affectionate level.
Brooks and Hough first met in 2013 and felt an instant connection. Soon enough, they became an item and showed off their love in 2014. Once speaking about the star dancer in an interview, Brooks referred to her as a "very cool gal."
The famous pair became engaged in 2015 and tied the knot two years later. Fans got to know that they underwent IVF treatment in 2019, but it seems things went downhill in 2020.
