Angela Simmons Shares a Photo of Her Dad Rev Run & Look-Alike Son Sutton on the Rapper's B-Day

In the spirit of celebrating Rev Run on his birthday, his daughter, Angela Simmons, flaunted an adorable picture of the star and her son, Sutton, who is the spitting image of his grandfather.

Angela Simmons took to Instagram to show off a captured moment of her father, Joseph Simmons, popularly known as Rev Run, and her son, Sutton, as they smiled gleefully in each other's company. The post was captioned:

"✨✨Happy birthday to the Best Dad in the World!!!! Love you Dad???✨."

Simmons' post attracted over 1k comments from her followers as they admired the similarities between the grandfather and his 4-year-old grandson. A fan commented:

Rev Run wore a black sweater as he hugged his grandson affectionately. Sutton, who was on a red cardigan with a black collar, basked in the moment while holding onto his nose mask.

For his two-year death anniversary, Angela took to Instagram, stating how blessed she was to have had Tennyson.

In contrast to this happy moment in Angela's life, fans were saddened that she lost her former partner, Sutton Tennyson, to murder on November 3, 2018.

Angela got engaged to Tennyson in 2016, after which they had Sutton. But she called off the engagement that same year, claiming that she wanted off what wasn't healthy.

It was reported that the "Growing Up Hip Hop" star said that she would not stay in a place where she was not respected as she encouraged other single moms to stay strong and not give up.
