Bernie Mac's Daughter Je'Niece Shares What It's like to Have Him as a Dad in Heartwarming Post
The comedy and entertainment world would forever remember Bernie Mac as one of the greatest comedians of all time, and on Bernie Mac Day, his daughter Je'Niece McCullough remembered him in a sweet post saying:
"People ask me a lot about what it's like to be Bernie Mac's daughter, and I still don't know how to describe it. It's a trip. He's just dad to me. But not just dad... He's my hero."

McCullough further expressed that it was beautiful to see that her father still inspired people even in death, and his memories were being honored by all those who met him. She also said:
"It's a trip to see people idolize him, to see him become a staple of pop culture history and a comedy legend. "
She concluded the post by stating that she could not speak for who he was going to be today, but one thing she was excited about was that Mac would have been delighted with the way he was remembered and honored.
To honor her father, McCullough shared a picture of him and a video clip of a stand-up comedian, Nancy J Lee Woods doing an imitation of Mac to an audience. The photo she shared was a poster image of Mac holding a cigar.
Mac looked smart and handsome in a custom-made brown suit in the photo that was shared. In his usual fashion, he had a flower-patterned inner shirt while holding a cigar.
It was difficult for them to come to terms with the loss of Mac.
The video clip featured stand up comedian Woods mimicking Mac's voice and running through some of his famous lines. The imitation had the audience in peals of laughter as she gave a stellar performance.
Mac is known for his superb and comedic performances when it comes to acting or delivering his lines on a stage. He is perhaps most known for his sitcom "The Bernie Mac Show." Sadly, he passed away in 2008 after complications from pneumonia. His death rocked his family.
At the time of his death, McCullough explained that she and her mother, Rhonda, had to learn to lean on each other as it was difficult for them to come to terms with her father's loss. According to her, he was always the life of the party.
