Kim Kardashian Perfectly Sums up 2020 with Picture of Daughter North and Niece Penelope

If anyone had issues finding the right word or meme to describe what has been a chaotic 2020, then a picture Kim Kardashian shared on Sunday would have helped greatly.

She shared a picture that depicted what the year has been for many people worldwide. In the black-and-white snapshot, Kim's niece, Penelope, was seen reaching out her hand across her daughter, North, in a bid to shove the latter away.

Reacting to the shove, North screamed, while a seemingly overwhelmed Kim watched the situation. In her caption to the post, the reality star likened the situation playing out in the snapshot to 2020, writing:

"2020 as a photo ?."

Many of her fans who commented on the picture could not agree more with her. One laughed over the snapshot, saying many parents had been through that sort of experience this year.

A second fan described the photo as a mood while a third person said it was iconic. Another fan said the snapshot was too funny and that they could not stop laughing.

The 40-year-old explained she needed the boost because she felt she was being hard on herself.

Besides describing 2020, Kim's picture post also gave her fans a glimpse of what she has been experiencing while spending an extended period at home with her four children, North, 7, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 17 months.

The openly overwhelmed mom discussed her struggles parenting her four kids with her good friend Khadijah Haqq, in a recent episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashian."

The mother of four said she literally heard Chicago crying in the other room and did not care. She said she felt she was being an awful mom for allowing her daughter to cry without attending to her.

Kim said speaking to Haqq, a mother of two, about her parenting struggles made her feel normal, seeing that other people are also going through some of the things she faces.

The 40-year-old explained she needed the boost because she felt she was being hard on herself. Haqq is a mother of two, a son, Christian, 10, and a daughter, Celine, 6. She is also pregnant with her third child.

Kim shares her four children with her husband, Kanye West. Earlier in the year, she ruled out having a fifth child, saying being a mother to four kids is tough enough.

Despite the challenges she faces with her kids, Kim loves being their mother, bonding with them, and making beautiful memories, which is indeed the beauty of parenting.
