In an interview with People Magazine, Erin Napier spoke about society's perspective about a woman's reproductive situation, explaining that she believes a woman's body should be off-limit for discussion. In her words:

"I think it's really weird and unnecessary. People saying things like, 'You need to give Helen a sibling,' or 'She doesn't need to be an only child."

The reality star added that she has people close to her who desperately want a child but can't have one. Hence, when loose remarks about their reproductive situation are made, it hurts them.

After about nine years of marriage, Napier and her husband were blessed with the news of baby Helen on Mother's Day in 2017

Napier's opinion about the social issue is one that stems from a personal experience. In October, the "Home Town" star had to shut down pregnancy issues after wearing a loose-fitting outfit.

The 35-year-old noted that she doesn't necessarily get hurt by comments about her reproductive body, but she hopes to be a voice for those she loves. Napier, a proud mother to Helen, faced fertility issues before welcoming her now-2-year-old.

According to reports, the HGTV star suffered a perforated appendix and was told that she probably couldn't have children. Speaking about the experience, Napier admitted that she and her husband Ben Napier felt a bit of pressure.

However, now she wants to change people's perspective about the delicate conversation that is women's productive situation. She urged that people be more careful when discussing such topics.

However, when she conceived Helen, she found relief because, at 32, she felt ready to have a mini-me. In January 2018, the lovebirds welcomed Helen and shared the exciting news with a series of heartwarming photos featuring their newborn.

Earlier this month, the Napiers gave fans an early Christmas gift. They shared some of their tips for renovating a home on a budget. They told viewers not to underrate the power of paints and ditch the belief that they need to use expensive materials.
