The "Saved by the Bell" actor, Diamond, is struggling to ascertain the exact cause of his cancer as he does not smoke. Different speculations are said to be going through his mind.

Sources close to the stand-up comedian say that he suspects his rigorous work schedule, which has seen the actor travel worldwide over the last twenty years.

His close friends revealed that Diamond had had a stressful life traveling over the country for acting engagements. His living condition for most of his travels has not been so pleasant.

Diamond reportedly believes that some of the hotels he slept in might have had mold or asbestos, which he could have breathed in and have caused him cancer.

Although the skies seem dark for Diamond, his fans are confident that he will emerge stronger and better.

According to reports, the 44-year-old actor who also doubles as a director has already completed his first-round chemotherapy and is awaiting the second round of treatment.

Doctors are said not to have been able to have found the cause of the comedian's cancer, but most believe that it is hereditary since his mother died from breast cancer.

Representatives of the former child actor made the news of his diagnosis public via a Facebook post. According to reports, Diamond's illness has been challenging for him so far.

The actor is said to be relying on his loved ones' support and love to get through this dark time of his life. His friends and co-stars have also been around Diamond to support and help him through this.
