Todd Chrisley Gushes Over Biracial Granddaughter Chloe Always Having His Back in a Sweet Post

Todd Chrisley took to Instagram on Saturday to post an adorable snap of him and his granddaughter, Chloe Chrisley, sharing a sweet message about how the pair have each other’s backs.

Todd Chrisley shared the cute photo of him and his biracial granddaughter, Chloe spending time together. Chrisley dedicated the post to Chloe, adding he was always looking out for the little girl as she looks out for him.

The grandfather and granddaughter duo flashed the same closed-lipped smile as they posed in a car. The beautiful picture comes in the face of racial prejudice from internet trolls attacking the 7-year-old.

The reality star has found himself defending Chloe, who is often the target of internet trolls determined to criticize Chloe’s ethnicity. Chrisley recently was at Chloe’s aide after a troll expressed their dislike of her appearance.

After Chrisley announced Chloe’s feature in an episode of his podcast “Chrisley Confessions.” The pair were to discuss the topic of race in America. Chrisley clapped back, saying:

“I hope that the lord lets you live long enough to see that color doesn’t screw kids up, but ignorance and hate most certainly will.”

Chloe, 7, is the daughter of Chrisley’s eldest son, Kyle Chrisley, and his ex-girlfriend, Angela Johnson. Chloe’s parents appear to have had a troubled relationship after Kyle’s ex accused him of abuse during her pregnancy.

Todd won full custody of Chloe in 2014 after Kyle quit the “Chrisley Knows Best” reality show due to his battle with bipolar disorder and substance abuse, while Johnson was arrested and charged with Medicaid fraud.

Kyle also demanded to be paid Chloe’s appearance fees.

Despite the drama surrounding Chloe’s birth parents, Chloe is proud of her heritage, a fact she shared with Chrisley. Chloe spends time taking up equestrian hobbies and calling Chrisley and his wife 'Mimi' and 'Papa.'

However, Kyle has accused his father of using Chloe to ramp up viewership for his show, insisting that Chrisley was never interested until he knew Chloe was biracial. Chrisley has rebutted the claim saying:

"Chloe is our family, and we are glad that the world gets to see such a beautiful child grow, explore and come into herself so brilliantly through love and respect."

Chrisley's tussles with his son served as a reminder to fans despite the Chrisley clan's bright smiles, off-camera, the family has their fair share of family drama. Fans have not seen all of the reality star’s family dynamics.
