The "Watchmen" star posed at the entrance of a garden, gently leaning on a black metal gate with one hand. She placed the other on her waist while crossing her legs and completed her glam with clear stiletto heels.
King is the recipient of an Oscar Award and several Emmy accolades, among others.
While her expertise has made her a high-profile Hollywood star in the industry, her sense of style also goes a long way to defining her personality. King, 50, confirmed this at the 2020 Emmy Awards virtual ceremony.
Although the event was held virtually, the "227" star, nonetheless, looked dapper in her bespoke. King was nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series category for her role in "Watchmen."
She donned an exclusive glam from Schiaparelli Couture by Daniel Roseberry. The blue dress was bejeweled with vibrant precious stones and featured a pillow-like bodice. The skirt was styled to show off the star's flawless limbs.
King's dress was a one-shoulder outfit with a blow-up above her head, looking cushioned and comfy. She spiked her look with strappy killer heels while her raven curls were done in a flirty updo.
Despite not attending an in-person Emmy Awards ceremony, King made the most out of her glam by collaborating with her styling team to create a lovely photoshoot. She shared in a chat:
"A wonderful artist named James Anthony collaborated with my stylists Wayman and Micah…"
The 50-year-old noted that they had all taken the COVID-19 precautions and even got tested before the photoshoot. Her makeup artist, Latrice Johnson, spiced up King's look with a blue eyeliner to match her dress.
The "Boondocks" star is one of the movie industry's most revered stars. King is the recipient of an Oscar Award and several Emmy accolades, among others. She is also considered as the African-American actress with the most accolades.
The movie star is beginning to explore directing. She made her debut as a director in "One Night in Miami." King also bagged the milestone of being the first female African-American director to feature at the Vince Film Festival.
