Don Lemon's Fiancé Tim Malone Surprises Him with Gorgeous Flowers & a Sweet Note

Renowned broadcast journalist Don Lemon got one of the sweetest surprises from his fiancé, Tim Malone. There was no important occasion but Malone made the day extra special.

"CNN Tonight" star Don Lemon made many female fans envious after his longtime partner, real estate agent Tim Malone, sent him a thoughtful gift on an ordinary day.

Lemon took to Instagram to share what Malone gave him when he arrived at home. It sure took away the 54-year-old journalist's stress from work.

A RANDOM GESTURE

In the photo, a clear glass vase of beautiful pink flowers sat on top of their kitchen table. Lemon couldn't remember anything special on that day.

Under the fresh flowers, a tiny piece of note caught his eyes that read," Just because I love you!" Malone's surprise made Lemon smile. He captioned his post:

"When I got home. Just because. Such a sweetie. Thanks @timpmalonenyc"

Like Lemon, his legion of fans flocked to the comment section to gush at Malone's thoughtful and sweet gesture. A fan commented that Lemon deserved the gift.

Another fan also commented that it's always those small things that make one feel valued, while others noted that random gifts are beautiful and the best.

NO SPECIAL OCCASSIONS NEEDED

Right after Lemon's post, the flower shop, Mary Martha's Floral Design, re-shared the "CNN Newsroom" star's snap on Instagram Story and agreed that one doesn't need any occasion to send flowers.

Malone, who used to work in media and advertising, also shared the flower shop's snap on his Instagram Story. He seems happy that Lemon liked his random gift. The lovebirds have been dating since 2016.

The couple is selling their unit for $1.75 million.

A NEW CHAPTER

After three years of dating, Lemon announced his engagement to Malone in 2019. The proposal was special as their dogs played a major role in Malone's sweet plan.

The award-winning journalist shared on Instagram a photo of their two dogs, Barkley and Boomer, wearing dog tags with a message, "Daddy will you marry Papa?"

After a year of being engaged, the sweet pair made a big step last year by listing their two-bedroom Harlem condo in the market. The couple is selling their unit for $1.75 million.

Lemon initially bought his unit in 2013 for $1 million. It has wall-to-ceiling windows in the master's bedroom and a walk-in shower and tub in the master's bathroom.
