Jamie Foxx Mourns the Death of His Beautiful Aunt Shirley in a Heartbreaking New Post on IG

Iconic actor Jamie Foxx is in a somber mood as he recently took to his Instagram page to share the sad news of the passing of his "beautiful" aunt Shirley.

Grief almost comes naturally with the loss of a loved one. For most people and even celebrities, social media has become an outlet for them to let out their grief and honor their dead.

While many were gearing up for the Super Bowl weekend, veteran actor Jamie Foxx was thrown into mourning following the death of his aunt Shirley.

The 53-year-old actor shared a picture of his late aunt Shirley on his Instagram page alongside a short message. In the photo, Foxx's aunt was wearing a white outfit with a flower filter placed on her head.

The post immediately generated thousands of comments from the actor's Instagram followers, with most of them sharing their condolences. Foxx captioned the photo writing:

"Rest in power to our beautiful aunt Shirley... you will be missed but never forgotten…"

This will make it the second time in nearly four months that the "Django Unchained" actor would be rocked by the death of a family member.

Last year, Foxx was devastated by the death of his younger sister DeOndra Dixon at 36. DeOndra was born with Down syndrome, and in 2011, she was named an Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

Foxx is known to be very private about his personal life, but there is no secret about his loving relationship with his sisters.

On October 26, 2020, Foxx broke the sad news of his sister's passing on his Instagram account with a heartbreaking tribute in honor of her memory.

The talented actor also shared a montage of pictures of himself and his sister through many years of beautiful memories. He wrote in the caption:

"My heart is shattered into a million pieces... my beautiful loving sister Deondra has transitioned..."

Meanwhile, Foxx has another younger sister, Deidra Dixon, who also works in Hollywood as a makeup artist. Foxx is known to be very private about his personal life, but there is no secret about his loving relationship with his sisters.

In fact, the relationship between Foxx and his sisters was so tight, he even asked Deidra and the late DeOndra to come and live with him in California.

Interestingly, Foxx's sisters are not the only members of his family who have lived with the Hollywood superstar. Foxx's divorced parents also lived with him for more than a decade.

Foxx is also a proud father of two girls, Corinne Foxx and Annalise Bishop. And despite his busy career, the father of two continues to prove that family always comes first with him.
