Actor Keanu Reeves seems to be aging like fine wine. The star has become more refined over the past years, and he’s been a hit with the ladies (and some men) since the 1980s.

On February 17, 1989, the movie “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” was released. In 2021, it celebrated its 32nd anniversary, and to celebrate it, we have a look at one of its star’s transformations over the years.

Keanu Reeves had a starring role in the movie as Ted Logan, but three years before that, he appeared in another film. His feature film debut actually occurred in 1986 when he starred in “Youngblood.”

“Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure” was Reeves’s breakout role alongside Alex Winter, who played Bill Preston. The film was such a hit that the two actors reunited for two more sequels.

In 1989, Reeves was 24-years-old when the movie was released. He starred as a goofy high school student who traveled through time to collect information for his history project.

The actor had shorter hair and a much younger face at the time, but he was still quite handsome. In 1991, he appeared in the action film “Point Break,” where he showcased his more serious side.

That same year, Reeves reprised his role as Logan in the sequel, “Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.” Of course, he looked a bit older in this installment but still held the same charm and goofiness of the first one.

A year later, fans got to see him in “Dracula” alongside Winona Ryder. He and the actress went on to star with each other in three more films over the years, and they are close friends.

In 1994, he once again showed off his action side, sporting short hair, by starring in “Speed.” In the movie, he featured with actress Sandra Bullock whom he later reunited with for the film “The Lake House” in 2006.

In that movie, the actor showed off how versatile he was as he played a much more romantic character. One franchise that really put him on the map was “The Matrix” trilogy.

By that time, Reeves was no longer the cute young man he was in the 1980s. He played the role of Neo in the movies, and he’s set to reprise the role in “The Matrix 4,” which is planned for a 2021 release.

In 2014, the star took on the role of the action figure, “John Wick.” He’s since appeared in two more sequels of the franchise, and he’s set to feature in two extra sequels in the coming years.

Keanu Reeves was nearing four decades in the industry in 2021.

The last “Bill & Ted” franchise movie was released in 2020. The installment was titled “Bill & Ted Face the Music,” and Reeves reprised his role again and tried to play the goofy character well.

The actor was nearing four decades in the industry in 2021. On September 2, 1964, the star was born in Beirut, Lebanon, to Patricia Bond and Samuel Nowlin Reeves, Jr., before they divorced four years later.
