Fans Mistake Kimora Lee Simmons for Her Daughter Aoki in This TBT Pic of Her Wearing a Swimsuit

Apparently, Kimora Lee Simmons and her daughter Aoki are not just business partners taking on the world together, but they're also twins and fans completely agree.

Aoki Lee Simmons posted a throwback photo of her multi-talented mother, Kimora Lee Simmons, on her Instagram page. Fans were awestruck by the similarity between the two, with some of them even mistaking Kimora for Aoki herself.

The throwback picture featured Kimora when she was younger, having fun on the beach. The blue sea took over the background, creating a gorgeous picture with the young woman shining brightly in the center.

I GOT IT FROM MY MAMA

In her caption, Aoki wrote that the individual in the picture was an inspirational woman to her. This must have confused fans as many of them thought it was the young Aoki herself, with comments flooding in, one of them stating:

"I thought this was YOU."

This wasn't the only remark with fans and followers gushing into the comment section, almost all of them mentioning the striking similarity between mother and daughter. The picture received just under 16,000 likes in total.

SMILING IN THE SUN

The picture itself was gorgeous, with Kimora exiting the water, the sun sparkling off her wet body and hair. Her bright smile provided evidence that she was truly enjoying her time at the beach.

Aoki has been returning to her passion for ballet.

Besides the plethora of comments which simply stated that they thought the picture was of Aoki and not her mother, one follower, in particular, gave attention to the smile. @lauren.hoggg said that the smile, specifically, was truly similar.

FAMILY BUSINESS

At the end of last year, Kimora made a public declaration concerning the launch of her beauty line under Baby Phat with her daughters Aoki and Ming Lee. Speaking about this brand and the collaboration with her children, she said the following:

"We're a family business ... a heritage brand. It's an old meets new legacy kind of a situation for me."

They launched three new fragrance sets, each representing one of the three personalities involved. It appears that not only are Kimora and her daughter alike in looks, but they are interested in taking on the big and bad world of business.

MODELS EVERYWHERE

If all this isn't enough, both mother and daughter certainly have a talent for strutting their stuff in swimsuits. Near the end of last year, Aoki posted a picture of herself in a golden bikini, showing off her model-like and toned body.

The natural beauty gave the camera an alluring look, looking as gorgeous as ever with no makeup to be seen. Of course, this is just another example of Aoki taking after her gorgeous model mother.

We've all had to come up with new and strange hobbies to keep ourselves entertained at home during the pandemic and Aoki is exactly the same. The Harvard student has been busy with TikTok vids, working out, and trips to the beach.

Most of all, Aoki has been returning to her passion for ballet, sharing Instagram videos of her moving to the music. While sharing a dance video, Aoki asked all fans and followers what exercises they were busy with inside their homes.
