FUNNY FACES WITH BIRDIE

The “I Wanna Love You Forever” songstress recently shared a glimpse of her day with her youngest daughter, Birdie. The duo looked comfortable sitting side-by-side while posing similarly with their tongues rolled. Simpson captioned the post:

“Taco tongues are our daily thang [sic]. Tabasco anyone?”

Apart from being a multi-talented star and an amazing mother, Simpson is also an author. She most recently published the paperback edition of her 2020 memoir, titled “Open Book.”

Simpson was previously married to Nick Lachey in 2002 and starred in their own reality show, “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.”

As the title suggests, the doting mom detailed much of her life in the pages, focusing on her career, addiction, previous sexual abuse, past relationship, and her most prized possession, family.

SOBRIETY AMIDST COVID-19

Simpson began her journey towards sobriety in November 2017 and has not consumed alcohol since, even amidst the pandemic. During an interview on “The Tamron Hall Show,” she shared:

“I have not thought about alcohol [...] It’s weird because alcohol was an easy thing for me to give up.”

Her husband also played a significant role in the sobriety process as he joined her in the journey. Simpson has praised Johnson on many occasions and sees him as the most selfless husband and father ever.

A SUPPORTIVE HUSBAND

During an interview on “Good Morning America,” Simpson also revealed that her spouse had been supportive of her “Open Book” writing process and understood why his wife wanted to share her story.
