Marjorie posted a video clip of herself during her appointment as a woman dressed in blue scrubs and a facemask explained the procedure and possible side effects. The fashionista looked calm and collected while nodding her head in acknowledgment.
As the video continued, Marjorie, donning all-black athletic gear, exhibited confidence as she gave the camera a thumbs-up after removing her black hooded sweater to reveal her arms.
While the video cut off before the actual jab, Marjorie assured her fans that the vaccination had taken place before encouraging a sense of community and urging them to stay safe. She revealed:
"I did my part......I’m fully vaccinated."
The post was well-received by Marjorie's followers, who responded by relaying their own vaccination experiences and thanking her for sharing her moment and being an example.
THE HARVEY'S LOVE STORY
Marjorie and Steve, her husband of almost 14 years, have long been considered a power couple that many fans look up to. After first meeting in 1990 at a comedy club in Memphis, Tennessee, their love story reads like a fairytale.
[Steve] made headlines for announcing the wrong name at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant.
The couple instantly had a connection, but as fate would have it, their relationship didn't work out until 2005 when both stars were single and ready for a commitment. They tied the knot on June 25, 2007.
BLENDED FAMILY STRUGGLES
Steve and Marjorie's marriage did not come without its challenges, mainly when it came to blending their families. Marjorie has three kids of her own, while the comedian has four kids from two previous marriages.
Bringing their seven children together was not a walk in the park, but over time, the couple managed to build a big happy family with the "Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man" author adopting his wife's kids.
A DEVOTED FATHER OF SEVEN
Steve is entirely devoted and protective of all his children, whether biological or not, including his most famous child, Lori Harvey, who is currently dating "Fruitvale Station" actor Michael B. Jordan.
The 64-year-old comedian, who made headlines for announcing the wrong name at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, has publicly endorsed his daughter's boyfriend and has even met the actor's father.
